Too Cute!

At this age, Halloween is totally for the parents entertainment. We got together with some friends that live in our neighborhood for a mini Halloween party for the little ones. Brady lasted about an hour and only about 5 minutes in his costume. He loved watching the bigger kids in their costumes and was so cute in his.

Happy Halloween!!!

Look at that cute Hot Dog!! We are going to see some friends tonight, so I will post more later, but here is a preview of our little hot dog. Brady is NOT a fan of the costume and I have about 2.5 seconds to snap as many pictures as I can before he looses it.

Bedtime

Surprisingly, Brady really has this bed time routine thing down. In his first two months, we really thought he might be the only baby in the world that required no sleep. We are past that now and he is a champ at bed time. Bath, bottle and bed...now we are adding books to that list. I have heard it is never too early to start reading to your baby. I really didn't think Brady would have the attention span for it, but he was completely captivated when Colby pulled out a couple of our new books. I think this will be a new "B" in our bedtime routine.

Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to the Pumpkin Patch at my mom's church. We took at least a thousand pictures...and oh yeah, bought a pumpkin. Here are my favorites, but there were so many cute ones. Something about babies and pumpkins. We were all sweating, as it is 90 degrees in Dallas today, but Brady had to wear his Halloween onsie and jeans, so we just toughed it out. They say the cold front is coming...finally! Brady has so many cute fall outfits I am dying to put him in. It looks like it will finally be cool enough this week.

Cruel and unusual punishment

We had way too much fun torturing our two babies with this witches hat. Neither were very into it, but we thought it was hilarious.

Bouncy Seat

We all know Brady loves to bounce. Bouncing him in the exercise ball was the only way we could console him in the early weeks. We test drove his bouncy seat this weekend and although he is still a little young for it, he loved putting weight on his legs and bouncing.

Who is that baby?!

This is Brady's new favorite game. He is so funny and obsessed with that baby he keeps seeing in the mirror. As soon as I pull out the camera he stops smiling, but these pictures are just as cute. He is so intense.

Smiley Boy

Brady is at such a fun stage right now where he is really starting to smile at everything and even giggle. Our main goal of every day is getting that giggle out. You should see some of the things we do and noises we make. We have to laugh at ourselves. He has so many different smiles. One that is so big, it seems to take up his entire face and is all gums. It is too cute. I don't have a picture of that one, but here are a few.

Hip-Hop-apotomus

Could this boy get any cuter? I might be a little biased. He loves this hipo towel and will stare at himself in the mirror when I wrap him up in it after his bath. His new trick right now is blowing spit bubbles. He will entertain himself for 30 minutes at a time, just blowing spit bubbles. It entertains us too, just watching him smile and laugh to himself as he drools.

OU/TX

This year it was a baby centered OU/TX. No big parties or drinking at the bar. We had just as much fun though and OU won, so the Smith House was happy. It was a much better game than we thought it would be. We watched it with our friends that just happened to be UT fans. Here are some pictures of their son Alex, 10 months and Brady, 3 months, in their OU/UT outfits. Alex sure looks happy for just losing the big game. :)
